Most Android devices do not provide a decoder for MPEG-1 Layer-2 Audio. Even the MP3 decoders do not decode Layer-2 audio. The plugin will spawn a service, which allows other apps that are based on the OMRI middleware, to use the service for decoding DAB audio.
This app is built from open source hosted on https://github.com/hradio/omri-dabdecoder-plugin
This app includes a 3rd party open source software "MPG123" (http://www.mpg123.de)
