I.S. Song Hits หรือ บริษัทวงศ์สว่างพับลิชชิ่ง แอนด์ พริ้นติ้ง จำกัด ก่อตั้งในปี 2512 โดย คุณเล็ก วงศ์สว่าง อดีตนักจัดรายการวิทยุผู้โด่งดังเจ้าของรายการ “I.S. Song Hits” หรือ “รายการเพลงประทับใจ” ในยุคช่วงที่เพลงสากลมีบทบาทและมีอิทธิพลในหมู่วัยรุ่นไทย ผู้ริเริ่มหนังสือเพลงไทยใส่คอร์ดกีตาร์ฉบับแรกของเมืองไทย โดยใช้ชื่อว่า “The Guitar” และหนังสือเพลงเล่มนี้ก็กลายเป็นต้นแบบของหนังสือเพลงในเมืองไทยมาจนถึงปัจจุบันมากกว่า 40 ปีในวงการสื่อสิ่งพิมพ์
ด้วยอุดมการณ์ที่ยึดมั่น …“ถ้าเราไม่ริ แล้วใครจะเริ่ม เราคือผู้นำ ไม่ใช่ผู้ตาม หลังประสบความสำเร็จจากการจัดพิมพ์หนังสือเพลง จึงได้หันมาบุกเบิกงานด้านธุรกิจสิ่งพิมพ์แบบเต็มตัว อีกทั้งริเริ่มผลิตนิตยสารแฟชั่นเสื้อผ้า แฟชั่นแบบผมเป็นรายแรกของเมืองไทย รวมถึง “ศาลาคนเศร้า” หนังสือพ็อกเก็ตบุ๊คที่รวบรวมเรื่องราวความรักและชีวิตจากประสบการณ์จริงของผู้อ่าน ซึ่งได้รับความนิยมเป็นอย่างสูง
ปี 2540 ยังเป็นผู้พลิกผันวงการหนังสือด้วยการริเริ่มทำพ็อกเก็ตบุ๊คชื่อ “ทะลึ่ง” หนังสือคลายเครียดสำหรับผู้ใหญ่ ซึ่งผลตอบรับเป็นไปอย่างท่วมท้น ติด 1 ใน 10 หนังสือขายดีของร้านหนังสือชั้นนำติดต่อกันเป็นเวลาหลายเดือน โดยปัจจุบันอยู่ในรูปแบบของ Box Set ทะลึ่งคลาสสิค,ทะลึ่ง Top100, ทะลึ่ง Mini และการ์ตูนขำขันคลายเครียดภายใต้โลโก้ I.S. Pocket และ I.S. Humor รวมถึงนวนิยายเรื่องสั้นจากสำนักพิมพ์ I.S. Novel
