Szanowni Państwo,
ostatnie lata przyniosły wiele wyników badań nad skutecznością immunoterapii nowotworów. Metoda ta przyniosła długo oczekiwany przełom w leczeniu części nowotworów, pozwalając na znaczne wydłużenie przeżycia, m.in. u chorych z czerniakiem czy niedrobnokomórkowym rakiem płuc. Immunoterapia stanowi odrębną od chemioterapii metodę leczenia, której prowadzenie wymaga znajomości mechanizmów działania nowych leków, ich profilu toksyczności czy prób zidentyfikowania czynników predykcyjnych. Wiedza w tym zakresie rośnie w ostatnich kilkunastu miesiącach lawinowo, a rejestracje nowych cząsteczek w licznych wskazaniach szybko wdrażają wyniki badań w codzienną praktykę kliniczną.
Zapraszam Państwa do Łodzi na drugą edycję Konferencji Immunoterapia nowotworów, której zadaniem jest aktualizowanie naszej wiedzy na ten temat i która da nam okazję do wymiany poglądów i doświadczeń w gronie najlepszych specjalistów w Polsce.

Dear Sir or Madam,recent years have brought a lot of research results on the effectiveness of cancer immunotherapy. This method has brought a long-awaited breakthrough in the treatment of a subset of tumors, allowing for significant prolongation of survival, including in patients with melanoma, or small cell lung cancer. Immunotherapy is distinct from chemotherapy treatment method, the conducting of which requires knowledge of the mechanisms of action of new drugs and their toxicity profile and attempts to identify predictors. Knowledge in this area is growing rapidly the last several months, and the registration of new molecules in numerous indications quickly implement research results in daily clinical practice.
I invite you to Lodz, the second edition of the Conference of the immunotherapy of cancer, whose task is to update our knowledge on the subject and that will give us the opportunity to exchange views and experiences among the best specialists in Poland.
I wish you a fruitful stay and many experiences, to encourage the return of the next editions of the conference in the next few years.
