Az ITBN az Informatikai Biztonság Napja eredeti rövidítése mellett mára már az „Info/Cybersec, Trends, Buzz & Networking” rövidítését is tartalmazza, melyek mint célok eddig is a rendezvény központi elemei voltak 2004 óta.
