Identifying final sounds and connecting that sound to the appropriate lower case letter can be tricky for children! Itchy’s Alphabet Final Sounds Game gives children plenty of practice with this important skill that benefits reading, spelling and listening.
In this app, children will
• see a picture of an object and four letters
• hear the word for the object
• choose the correct lowercase letter that matches the final sound of the word
• receive positive reinforcement from Itchy if they are correct
• receive encouragement from Itchy if they are incorrect
• hear the word repeated if they choose an incorrect letter
• have the option to choose up to 10 picture cues for most final sounds
• have the option to choose all 14 final sounds (b, k, d, f, g, l, m, n, p, r s t, x, z) or any number of specific letters to practice
• receive their score and a final positive reinforcement upon completion
