Itchy’s Alphabet Picture Matching Game is a fun drill-and - practice app to teach children the letter/sound connections using Itchy’s Alphabet research-based picture cues in the shape of the lower case letters.
Do your children struggle with remembering letters and sounds? Itchy, our adorable mascot, will help your child learn these skills quickly and easily. This fun, easy-to-use app lets children connect letters to Itchy’s unique picture cues in the shape of the lower case letters.
In this app, children will
• be introduced to the 26 alphabet letter and sounds using the Itchy’s Alphabet unique, research-based picture cues in the shape of the letters
• have fun matching the appropriate letter formations to the picture cues, using an interactive touch keyboard
• always hear the letter sound when they select the correct letter formation
• enjoy receiving a positive reinforcement from Itchy when correct
• receive encouragement from Itchy if incorrect
• have the option to see the letter first and match the appropriate picture cue from the touch keyboard
• see their score at the end as well as a fun positive reinforcement
• have the option to select all 26 letters to work on or select any number of specific letters to practice
• receive adequate practice to ensure letter sounds are in long term memory
