Jarvis è il tuo nuovo assistente vocale personale. Ispirandosi al film Ironman, questa app ti permette di interagire in modo completamente naturale con il tuo smartphone o il tuo tablet semplicemente parlando, proprio come Tony Stark fa con il suo Jarvis.
Vuoi per esempio mandare un sms? Basta che chiedi a Jarvis di farlo per te, parlandogli come una vera persona. Non dovrai specificare nessun comando particolare, ma ti basterà semplicemente chiedergli ad esempio "Manda SMS a Mario". Jarvis è in grado di capire anche frasi come "puoi mandare un sms?", o "inviami subito un messaggio!", ed è in grado di capirti come un vero essere umano.
E' possibile attivare Jarvis senza bisogno di toccare lo schermo, in tre modi differenti:
- è possibile attivarlo fischiando
- è possibile attivarlo scuotendo leggermente il dispositivo
- è possibile attivarlo sfiorando lo schermo qualche volta utilizzando la mano.
E' inoltre possibile scegliere la modalità di attivazione che preferite (o anche più di una!)
ATTENZIONE: usare queste modalità di attivazione con attenzione, in quanto posso comportare un elevato consumo di batteria.
Le funzionalità di Jarvis sono molteplici! Alcune di queste comprendono:
- Invio e lettura SMS
- Rispondere ed eseguire telefonate
- Meteo
- Aprire una app installata sul tuo dispositivo
- Alzare o abbassare il volume
- Attivare o disattivare la wifi e i dati 3G
- Eseguire ricerce su Google o su Youtube
- Fornirti indicazioni stradali
- Tradurre testi dall'italiano in molte lingue
- Dirti data e ora
- Cercarti le informazioni sulla tua squadra di calcio preferita, e sui principali campionati calcistici
- Scaricare per te la programmazione tv serale
- Impostare la sveglia
- Trovare informazioni su persone o cose
- Leggere e scrivere tweet
- Aggiornare e controllare la bacheca di Facebook
- Aggiungere e controllare gli impegni sul calendario
- Calcolatrice
- Promemoria con orario o geolocalizzati
- Leggere qualsiasi notizia tramite RSS
- Ricerca di luoghi di interesse (pizzerie, ecc)
Inoltre Jarvis possiede un vero e proprio umore, come una persona. Se poi sei triste o stanco, puoi sempre chiedere a Jarvis di raccontarti una barzelletta. Puoi anche provare a farlo arrabbiare!
Jarvis dispone inoltre di una modalità "Senza mani", che si può attivare e disattivare vocalmente o attraverso le impostazioni. In questa modalità, è possibile selezionare delle impostazioni personalizzate per le notifiche e le modalità di attivazione.
Jarvis supporta inoltre le auricolari, permettendoti di avviarlo rapidamente semplicemente premendo il tasto del microfono. Sono disponibili inoltre delle impostazioni diversificate se sono inserite
le auricolari, cosa particolarmente utile quando vai in moto o in macchina. Per esempio, Jarvis ti può avvisare di nuovi SMS solo nel caso in cui siano inserite le cuffie, senza bisogno di dover
aprire la applicazione e modificare le impostazioni. Ti basta inserire le cuffie! (Ovviamente, questo è solo un esempio. Tutto è altamente personalizzabile e configurabile all'interno
dell'applicazione tramite un semplice menù).

Jarvis is your new personal voice assistant. Inspired by the movie Ironman, this app allows you to interact in a completely natural way with your smartphone or your tablet just talking, just like Tony Stark does with his Jarvis.
So you want to send a text message? Just ask Jarvis to do it for you, talking like a real person. You specify any particular command, but you can simply ask for example, "Send SMS to Mario."
