Nabi Muhammad SAW adalah anak Abdullah bin Abdul-Muthalib.
Ibunya benama Aminah binti Wahab. Kedua orangtuanya itu berasal dari suku Quraisy
yang terpandang dan mulia. Nabi Muhammad SAW lahir pada hari senin, 12 rabi’ul awwal
tahun gajah (atau, 20 april 571 masehi). Dinamakan tahun gajah, karena ketika beliau lahir,
kota Makkah diserbu oleh raja Brahahdan tentaranya dari negeri Habasyah
dengan menunggang gajah. Mereka hendak menghancurkan Ka’bah karena iri hati terhadapnya.
Tetapi Allah melindungi bangunan suci itu dan seluruh penduduk Makkah,
dengan menjatuhkan bati-batu sijjil ( dari neraka yang amat panas) kepada tentara itu.
Maka binasalah mereka semuanya.
Ketika Nabi Muhammad SAW masih di dalam kandungan ibunya, Abdullah, ayahnya,
pergi ke negeri Syam (Siria) untuk berdagang. Tetapi, sepulang dari sana,
ketika sampai di kota Madinah, ia menderita sakit dan wafat dalam usia 18 tahun.
Abdullah dimakamkan di kota Madinah. Maka, Nabi Muhammad SAW dilahirkan ke dunia dlam
keadaan yatim, di tengah-tenhgah masyarakat jahiliyah penyembah berhala,
penindas kaum lemah, perampas hak orang, dan bahkan pembunuh kaum wanita. Nabi Muhammad SAW was the son of Abdullah bin Abdul-Muttalib.
Benama his mother Aminah. Both his parents came from the tribe of Quraish
honorable and noble. Nabi Muhammad SAW was born on Monday, 12 Rabi al-Awwal

Makkah city is invaded by troops from the country Brahahdan king Habasyah
by riding an elephant. They want to destroy the Kaaba envy him.
But God protect the shrine and all the inhabitants of Makkah,

Then they all perished.
When Nabi Muhammad SAW was still in his mother's womb, Abdullah, his father,
go to the land of Sham (Syria) to trade. However, after returning from there,
when he arrived in the city of Medina, he suffered and died at the age of 18 years.
Abdullah dimakamkan in the city of Medina. Thus, Nabi Muhammad SAW was born into the world in the development of
orphaned state, in the ignorant society tenhgah idolater
oppression of the weak, the usurper of the rights of people, and even killer of women.
