Kemajuan teknologi khususnya semakin meluasnya cakupan internet membuat kita semakin mudah mendapatkan informasi. Salah satu yang paling terasa adalah semakin banyak pengguna smartphone, oleh karena itu kami membuat aplikasi Kitab Ilmu Hikmah agar dapat memberikan tambahan pengetahuan bagi kita semua.
Isi dari aplikasi ini yaitu mengenai Ilmu Hikmah adalah suatu amalan spiritual yang berupa ayat Alqur’an, doa-doa tertentu, hizib atau mantra-mantra suci yang berbahasa Arab dan diimbangi dengan laku batin untuk mendekatkan diri kepada Allah dan membersihkan jiwa dari berbagai penyakit hati. Yang disebut mantra suci adalah mantra yang isi kandungannya tidak melanggar syariat islam. Ilmu Hikmah bisa dipelajari dengan amalan berupa dzikir, tabarruk, menyendiri, membersihkan hati, bersikap bijaksana atau riyadhoh tertentu sesuai ajaran para guru/ ulama.
Ilmu Hikmah banyak sekali manfaatnya, mencakup segala urusan dunia dan akhirat. Ilmu Hikmah bisa untuk menyelesaikan berbagai macam masalah kehidupan, membantu kita kuat dalam mengarungi kehidupan yang penuh cobaan, merupakan sarana memohon perlindungan kepada Allah, mempermudah jalan usaha/rezeki kita, memperbaiki perilaku atau akhlak diri kita, mengubah perilaku buruk menjadi baik, menerangi hati yang gelap menjadi terang-benderang, memberi kegembiraan bagi yang sedih, memberi kekuatan bagi yang merasa lemah, membuat kita semakin dekat dengan Allah SWT dan bisa juga sebagai sarana amal ibadah untuk mendapatkan ridho Allah.
Ilmu Hikmah berbeda dengan ilmu kesaktian para pendekar yang bisa dipamerkan atau disombongkan. Justru pantangan utama dalam mempelajari ilmu hikmah adalah kesombongan atau merasa punya kehebatan. Kunci dalam ilmu hikmah adalah memohon pertolongan dan rahmat dari Allah agar dalam menjalani hidup di dunia ini, kita diberi keselamatan, kelancaran, kesuksesan, kemudahan, kebahagiaan dan segala hal baik yang kita butuhkan. Juga agar perjalan kita di akhirat nanti diberi kelancaran hingga kita bisa bertemu Allah Yang Maha Besar. Oleh karena itu, inti dari Ilmu Hikmah sebenarnya adalah mendekatkan diri dan menyerahkan diri sepenuhnya kepada Allah. Hingga kita sama sekali tidak merasa punya kehebatan. Karena tiada daya dan upaya yang mampu hamba lakukan kecuali karena adanya Allah semata.
Menurut kamus bahasa Arab, al-Hikmah mempunyai banyak arti. Diantaranya, kebijaksanaan, pendapat atau pikiran yang bagus, pengetahuan, filsafat, kenabian, keadilan, peribahasa (kata-kata bijak), dan al-Qur'anul karim. (Kamus al-Munawir: 287)..
