In this case you should round it up and use 3 eggs for a better result.
If the mould conversion is very large, for example, changing a recipe of a 6 inches round mould to a 12 inches round mould, it is likely that the cooking time will vary, likewise, if the change is made from a very large mould or a small one, the cooking time may be different from that indicated in the recipe.
In these cases you can always check if the cake or pie is ready by pricking with a steel skewer, if it comes out with pieces stuck, that means you still need to bake it longer, but if it comes out clean then it is time to get it out of the oven.
