KLa formed by Katon, Lilo, Adi, and Ari in 1988 in the area of Tebet, Jakarta. [1] They released their first album "KLa" in 1989 which scored hits such as Range Asmara, About Us, Time Remaining, and Laguku. In 1991, KLa launched his second album titled "Second" where there is a monumental song Yogyakarta. While the third album (White Sand - 1992) they scored hits like Tak Bisa Ke Lain Hati and Soulmate.
Although it was music KLa Project ahead of his time, because the music is still popular with Malay rhythm, they managed to steal the hearts of many music listeners. They also have a fan base who call themselves KLanis.
