There is a tight relationship between Korean and Vietnamese through the vast number of cognate words originated from Chinese. In Korean, they are called Hanja (한자) while in Vietnamese, they are called Han Viet words. Understanding this relation makes it easy for Vietnamese to learn Korean and vice versa. This is main purpose of our dictionary.
