Karya Roh Kudus menghadirkan gereja. Itulah yang disaksikan Alkitab lewat kisah Pentakosta. Karya Roh Kudus pula yang menuntun gereja dan umat-Nya untuk menjadi Pewarta Kasih Allah di masa kini. Pewartaan ini menjadi semakin penting, karena dunia makin kehilangan kasih. Alih-alih menjadi pewarta, kerap gereja justru menerima mentah-mentah pewartaan dunia. Akibatnya gereja kehilangan kemampuan menjadi pewarta masa kini. Gereja terlalu sibuk dengan dirinya sendiri. Tak jarang pertikaian di dalam gereja justru menjadi pewartaan buruk bagi dunia.
Pada masa Pentakosta kali ini, kami mengajak gereja kembali mengingat hakikat kehadirannya di dunia ini. Hakikat itu dinyatakan melalui tema masa raya Pentakosta 2008: “Menjadi Pewarta Kasih Allah.” Terkait dengan hakikat itu, kita pasti ingat dengan perkataan Yesus: “Tetapi kamu akan menerima kuasa, kalau Roh Kudus turun ke atas kamu, dan kamu akan menjadi saksi-Ku di Yerusalem dan di seluruh Yudea dan Samaria dan sampai ke ujung bumi” (Kis 1:8). Kuasa menjadi pewarta telah diberikan Tuhan kepada gereja-Nya. Apakah kita setia pada panggilan tugas itu?
Untuk menolong gereja Tuhan menghayati kembali hakikatnya sebagai pewarta bahan ini dibuat. LPP Sinode amat berterima kasih pada kesediaan sejumlah sahabat yang terlibat ikut serta mendiskusikan tema dan menuliskan beberapa bahan yang kiranya dapat memperkaya kehidupan bergereja kita. Para sahabat yang terlibat adalah:

2. Vic. Risang Anggoro Elliarso (GKJ Condongcatur)
3. Pdt. Elizabeth Emilia Putri (GKJ Rewulu)

5. Pdt. Hendrikus A. Raharjo (DPG GKI SW Jateng)
6. Pdt. Em. Darsono Eko Nogeroho
Sebagaimana kita tahu, Pdt. Em. Darsono Eko Nogeroho adalah rekan dan mentor kami di LPP Sinode. Kini, setelah emeritus, beliau telah tinggal di rumah emeritusnya. Kesediaannya untuk terus membekali umat lewat bahan yang ditulisnya patut mandapat apresiasi.
Seperti bahan-bahan sebelumnya, kami menyarankan pada para pengguna untuk membaca “Bahan Dasar” terlebih dahulu agar memiliki cakrawala yang utuh, sehingga dapat memudahkan dalam menggunakan bahan-bahan yang ada.
Pada bahan ini kami kembali menyediakan 10 bahan Persekutuan Doa. 10 hari persekutuan menjelang Pentakosa adalah tradisi gereja yang baik untuk dilanjutkan. Semoga bahan ini termanfaatkan dengan baik. Diharapkan gereja dapat menghayati doa 10 hari ini. Karena itu bahan kategorial dewasa ditiadakan agar umat dewasa menjadi motor bagi pelaksanaan doa 10 hari menjelang Pentakosta ini.
Kami berharap bahan-bahan yang kami sajikan ini menolong gereja untuk dapat mempersiapkan masa raya Pentakosta dengan lebih baik. Tentu saja bahan ini perlu diolah lebih lanjut agar tetap relevan dengan kebutuhan gereja setempat.

• Pdt. Murtini Hehanussa The work of the Holy Spirit bring the church. That's the story of the Bible through Pentecost. The work of the Holy Spirit which guides the Church and also his people to be Announcers love of God in the present. This proclamation is becoming increasingly important, because the world is getting lost love. Instead of being a journalist, often church actually receive raw evangelization of the world. As a result, the church lost a herald today's capabilities. The Church too preoccupied with themselves. Not infrequently dissension in the church actually be bad for world evangelization.
At the time of Pentecost this time, we took the church back given the nature of its presence in this world. The essence is expressed through the theme of the Feast of Pentecost 2008: "Being a reporter Love of God." Related to that essence, we will remember the words of Jesus: "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses me in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth "(Acts 1: 8). The power of a herald God has given to His church. Are we faithful to the call of duty?
To help the Lord's church as a preacher essentially reliving this material was made. LPP grateful Synod on the willingness of a number of friends involved in participating discuss the theme and wrote some of the material that would be able to enrich our church life. As we know, Pastor. Em. Eko Darsono Nogeroho is our colleague and mentor LPP Synod. Now, after emeritus, he had stayed at home emeritusnya. His willingness to continue to provide the people through written materials mandapat worth appreciation.
As with previous materials, we advise all users to read "Basic Materials" in advance in order to have the whole horizon, so as to facilitate the use of existing materials.
On our return this material provides 10 material Fellowship. 10 days before the Pentecost communion is a good church tradition to continue. Hopefully, this material is well utilized. It is expected that the church can live up to 10 days of prayer. Because it's categorical material mature adult eliminated so that people become a motor for the implementation of 10 days before Pentecost prayer this.
We hope the material we present is to help the church to be able to prepare for Pentecost better. Of course, these materials need to be processed further in order to remain relevant to the needs of the local church.
