Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Ismail bin Ibrahim bin al-Mughirah bin Bardizbah al-Ju'fi al-Bukhari atau lebih dikenal Imam Bukhari (Lahir 196 H/810 M - Wafat 256 H/870 M) adalah ahli hadits yang termasyhur di antara para ahli hadits sejak dulu hingga kini bersama dengan Imam Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidzi, An-Nasai dan Ibnu Majah bahkan dalam kitab-kitab Fiqih dan Hadits, hadits-hadits dia memiliki derajat yang tinggi. Sebagian menyebutnya dengan julukan Amirul Mukminin fil Hadits (Pemimpin kaum mukmin dalam hal Ilmu Hadits). Dalam bidang ini, hampir semua ulama di dunia merujuk kepadanya.
Bukhari berguru kepada Syekh Ad-Dakhili, ulama ahli hadits yang masyhur di Bukhara. pada usia 16 tahun bersama keluarganya, ia mengunjungi kota suci terutama Mekkah dan Madinah, di mana di kedua kota suci itu dia mengikuti kajian para guru besar hadits. Pada usia 18 tahun dia menerbitkan kitab pertama Kazaya Shahabah wa Tabi'in, hafal kitab-kitab hadits karya Mubarak dan Waki bin Jarrah bin Malik. Bersama gurunya Syekh Ishaq, menghimpun hadits-hadits shahih dalam satu kitab, di mana dari satu juta hadits yang diriwayatkan 80.000 perawi disaring menjadi 7275 hadits.
Al-Imam Abul Husain Muslim bin al-Hajjaj al-Qusyairi an-Naisaburi(bahasa Arab: أبو الحسين مسلم بن الحجاج القشيري النيشابوري), atau sering dikenal sebagai Imam Muslim (821-875) dilahirkan pada tahun 204 Hijriah dan meninggal dunia pada sore hari Ahad bulan Rajab tahun 261 Hijriah dan dikuburkan di Naisaburi.
Dia juga sudah belajar hadis sejak kecil seperti Imam Bukhari dan pernah mendengar dari guru-guru Al Bukhari dan ulama lain selain mereka. Orang yang menerima hadis dari dia ini, termasuk tokoh-tokoh ulama pada masanya. Ia juga telah menyusun beberapa tulisan yang bermutu dan bermanfaat. Yang paling bermanfaat adalah kitab Shahihnya yang dikenal dengan Shahih Muslim.

Bab Tafsir Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Ismail bin Ibrahim bin al-Mughirah bin Bardizbah al-Ju'fi al-Bukhari or better known as Imam Bukhari (born 196 AH / 810 AD - Died 256 AH / 870 CE) was a famous hadith expert among experts hadith since the past until now along with Imam Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, An-Nasai and Ibnu Majah even in the books of Fiqh and hadith, hadeeth she has a high degree. Some call it the nickname of Commander of the Faithful fil Hadith (Leader of the faithful in Hadith Sciences). In this field, almost all scholars in the world refer to him.
Bukhari study with Shaykh Ad-Dakhili, illustrious scholars of hadith experts in Bukhara. at age 16 with his family, he visited the holy city of Mecca and Medina terutama, where in the two holy cities that he followed the study of the great teachers of hadith. At age 18 he published his first book Kazaya Shahabah wa Tabi'in, memorized the books of hadith works of Mubarak and Waki bin Malik bin Jarrah. Together with his teacher Syekh Ishaq, collect authentic hadiths in one book, in which a million hadith narrated 80,000 hadith narrators filtered into 7275.
