Nama Rossa mulai dikenal setelah merilis album pertama bertajuk Meskipun Cinta yang dirilis tahun 1995.
Selanjutnya album kedua yang bertajuk Tegar dan melambungkan nama Rossa,
Rossa pun ditunjuk sebagai wakil Indonesia di festival musik Vietnam di Hanoi.
Meski sibuk menyanyi dan manggung, Rossa berhasil menyelesaikan kuliah di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP) Universitas Indonesia pada Februari 2002.
Pada tahun yang sama, Rossa merilis album Kini (2002) yang masih didominasi lagu-lagu sendu seperti pada album-album sebelumnya.

Semoga Terhibur.... Rossa name became known after the release of the first album titled Although Love was released in 1995.
Furthermore, the second album, titled Tough and launched Rossa,
Rossa was appointed as the representative of Indonesia at the music festival Vietnam in Hanoi.
Although busy singing and gigging, Rossa successful completion of the study at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (Social) University of Indonesia in February 2002.
In the same year, Rossa released the album now (2002) which is still dominated by such melancholy songs on previous albums.
