Use Livescribe Link to ensure that your mobile device meets the minimum requirements* to connect to a Livescribe 3 smartpen.
Livescribe Link is a required service app that manages the Bluetooth connection between your Livescribe 3 smartpen and the Livescribe+ app (available as a separate download). Once you install Livescribe Link, there is no need to open or launch the app as it is designed to operate in the background.
