A Rádio Mais FM entrou no ar em 1º de agosto de 2000, depois de um mês de testes, só tocando músicas e ajustes de sons.
Nesse dia, passou a ser afiliada à Rede SomZoom Sat, três meses depois que a Rádio São Luís FM deixou a rede pela Rádio Jovem Pan FM.
A rádio entrou na história por ter potente transmissor na qual nenhuma rádio FM da Ilha de São Luís alcançava, chegando até cobrir quase todo o norte do Maranhão, chegando até interferir (em 2001) as rádios FMs Cidade (99.1 MHz, São Luís) e a Meio Norte (da mesma freqüência, só que Teresina, PI).
Por ter a tecnologia mais avançada do que as emissoras, passou a liderar a audiência, virando mera repetidora da rede, com exceção nos intervalos comerciais.
Em julho de 2003, a rádio anunciou que vai deixar de ser afiliada da Rede SomZoom Sat, após contratar locutores famosos das rádios FMs rivais, com maior audiência, como Difusora e a Cidade.
Em 1º de agosto, deixou a rede e passou gerar a programação local, permanecendo até hoje.
Nos anos seguintes, passa a ser líder de audiência, aproveitando-se do declínio das rádios Difusora, Cidade, Mirante e São Luís.

Radio More FM went on the air on August 1, 2000, after a month of testing, just playing music and sound adjustments.That day happened to be affiliated with SomZoom Sat Network, three months after the St. Louis Radio FM left the network by Radio Jovem Pan FM.
The radio made history by having powerful transmitter in which no FM radio of São Luís Island could see, coming up to cover most of the northern Maranhão, reaching interfere (in 2001) the FMs City radio (99.1 MHz, St. Louis) and North Half (of the same frequency, only Teresina, PI).
By having the most advanced technology that broadcasters, went on to lead the audience, turning mere repeater network, except in commercial breaks.
In July 2003, the radio announced that it will no longer be affiliated with SomZoom Sat Network, after hiring famous speakers of radios FMs rivals with wider audience, as Difusora and the City.
On August 1, he left the network and started generating local programming, remaining to this day.
In the following years, becomes leader of audience, taking advantage of the decline of Difusora radios, City, Lookout and St. Louis.
