Still in early stages of development. Mapbox map showing data from OpenStreetMap (osm) on your android wear watch, with offline options. See the trails.
Shows Ghostracers current recording track on the map (only on GPS enabled watches).
Options:
Two map styles: ©Mapbox Map outdoors and Dark
Density: A hack to make the map show footpaths without having to zoom too far in.
Rotate: Compass, uses in built compass to rotate screen, warning needs watch rotating to calibrate. Gps mode uses direction between last locations to rotate screen.
Maximum offline tile count is 6,000 set by mapbox.
There's a bug which will cause the app to crash if you have not got the latest google play services installed on your watch and your watch does not have a GPS capabilities.
How to install Maps APK for Android [menu]
Download Maps APK file from SameAPK.com, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.
