Mountain Live Explorer Scandinavia is an augmented reality application that let you have information on FINLAND, SWEDEN and NORWAY mountains and places simply turning your smartphone towards the peak. This application supports Italian and English languages, the database has more then 30.000 names of mountains and places. It's also possible to search in the database a name of mountain and display it on a map with all the mountains around. Using the GPS functionality you can know the distance from you and the mountain.
The application gives you also useful features for your security: a compass for your orientation, the possibility to send an SOS light signal and, if the phone signal is available, an SOS SMS with your latest coordinate registered by the GPS.
You can record your journeys and see them later on Google Maps and export to GPX.
If an internet connection is available, Google Maps will show you the map and contour lines(if the zone is covered), otherwise you will see a basic visualization with the peaks position.
