MusicNotifier will scan your mp3 folders; it will extract the artist and the song name from your mp3 files and will search the internet for new music from your existing performers. MusicNotifier will alert you on new songs you might like and will enable you to download from YouTube or purchase the new songs from Amazon.
When you get a new mp3 file, no matter what the source of the music, MusicNotifier will automatically add the performer to the list of your favorite performers and search for songs you never reviewed.
All you have to do is tell MusicNotifier where you keep your mp3 files, and for the first time only order it to scan for files, resolve artists and songs and scan for alerts.
The reason the first time is manual is because the first scan take more time and bandwidth and the user might want to watch the process, review and correct the artists spelling or instruct the application to use different resolution method.

Terminology:
Resolve / Identify a file - identify the artist and the song name of a specific mp3 file, using mp3 tags and regular expressions
Verify an artist - find the artist and its music on the web - part of the scan for new song feature - if an artist cant be found it might be that the name is misspelled
