You are able to publish Nearby Messages and see messages published by others when they are nearby. It is an example implementation of the Nearby Messages API.
This application is only able to show messages published with this application. You're not able to see Nearby Messages from other applications!
If you want to test it alone you'll have to get two devices. Never got it working on an emulator
How to install Nearby Debugger APK for Android [menu]
Download Nearby Debugger APK file (com.pascalwelsch.nearbydebugger_65_3575675.apk) from SameAPK.com, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.pascalwelsch.nearbydebugger_65_3575675.apk)
- Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

Using Emulator:
- Download And Install one Emulator Softwares (Ex: Bluestacks, GenyMotion, NoxPlayer)
- Simple install APK on PC by drag and drop file com.pascalwelsch.nearbydebugger_65_3575675.apk on Emulator screen
