Busca levar aos pequeninos a Palavra de Deus, o Amor de Jesus, as virtudes cristãs, e o respeito ao próximo e à criação, de forma lúdica e apropriada a eles.
O tema do Pequeninos do Senhor é "Vinde a mim os pequeninos e não os impeçais porque deles é o Reino dos céus" (Mc 10,14).
