Allâh Azza wa Jalla berfirman:
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ۗ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۖ فَمَنْ زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ ۗ وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ
Tiap-tiap yang berjiwa akan merasakan mati. Dan sesungguhnya pada hari kiamat sajalah disempurnakan pahalamu. Barangsiapa dijauhkan dari neraka dan dimasukkan ke dalam surga maka sungguh ia telah beruntung. Kehidupan dunia itu tidak lain hanyalah kesenangan yang memperdayakan. [Ali Imrân/3:185]
Allâh Azza wa Jalla memberikan pemberitaan umum kepada seluruh makhluk, bahwa setiap jiwa akan merasakan kematian. Hanya Allâh Yang Maha Hidup, tidak akan mati. Adapun jin, manusia, malaikat, semua akan mati.
Kematian merupakan hakekat yang menakutkan. Dia akan mendatangi seluruh orang yang hidup dan tidak ada yang kuasa menolak maupun menahannya. Maut merupakan ketetapan Allâh Azza wa Jalla . Ini adalah hakekat yang sudah diketahui. Maka sepantasnya kita bersiap diri menghadapinya dengan iman sejati dan amal shalih yang murni.
Di dalam tulisan ini insya Allah akan kami sampaikan beberapa peristiwa yang terjadi di alam kubur sehingga menjadikan kita lebih waspada dalam menjalani kehidupan dunia ini agar selamat di alam kubur. Allah Almighty says:
كل نفس ذائقة الموت وإنما توفون أجوركم يوم القيامة فمن زحزح عن النار وأدخل الجنة فقد فاز وما الحياة الدنيا إلا متاع الغرور
Every soul shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages. Whoever kept out of hell and put in heaven then indeed he has been lucky. The life of the world is nothing but pleasure deceptive. [Ali Imran / 3: 185]
Allah Almighty gives general news for all beings, that every soul will taste death. Only Allah the Most of Life, will not die. As for the jinn, humans, angels, all will die.
Death is frightening nature. He would come to all the people who live and no power to refuse or arrest him. Death is a decree of Allah Almighty. This is the essence of which is already known. Then it is appropriate that we be prepared to deal with the true faith and good deeds are pure.
In this paper, God willing, we will convey some of the events that occurred in the grave so as to make us more vigilant in living the life of this world in order to survive in the grave.
