This app is still beta. It automatically turns the screen on when the screen times out and displays your current wallpaper background. It only runs if the device is plugged in. To dismiss, just touch the screen. To temporarily disable press the power button again immediately after the screen saver turns on. I recommend using a live wallpaper like "MultiPicture Live Wallpaper".
