Puan Tercih programı 16 yıldır ÖSYM istatistikleri üzerine çalışmalar yapan Zekeriya Abanoz'un hazırladığı istatistikleri içeren bir programdır. Programdaki veriler ÖSYM verileri dikkate alınarak hazırlanmıştır. 2012 ve 2013 verileri direk ÖSYM verisi olup 2014 verilerinin bazıları ÖSYM verileri ve bazı öğrenci sonuçları dikkate alınarak hazırlanmıştır.
Puan hesaplama bölümünde netlerinizi yazarak 2012, 2013 ve 2014 katsayılarına göre puanınızı ve bu puan ile o yıl kaçıncı olabileceğinizi hesaplayabilirsiniz. ÖSYM katsayıları paylaşmadığından bilgisayar yardımı ile bu katsayılara en yakın katsayılar hesaplanmıştır Üretilenilen katsayılar ile öğrencilerin puan ve sırası %99.5'dan daha yüksek oranda isabetle hesaplandığı tespit edilmiştir.
Tercih bölümünde Türkiye'de ve yurt dışında ÖSYM ile tercih edilebileek üniversite bölümleri hakkında bilgilere ulaşabilirsiniz. Bu bilgiler ÖSYM verileri dikkate alınarak hazırlanmış olup 2014 sıraları eski ve yeni bilgiler kullanılarak hesaplanmıştır. Diğer puan, sıra, şehir, eğitim dili vb veriler ÖSYM verileridir. Bunun yanında bölümlerin açıklamaları dikkate alınarak ücret, hazırlık vb. veriler üretilmiştir. Tercih ekranından puan türü, şehir, üniversite, bölüm vb. bilgileri süzerek bölümlerin genel özelliklerini içeren özet ekranına ulaşabilirsiniz. Özet ekranında istediğiniz bölümün üzerine dokunarak o bölüm ile ilgili ayrıntılara ulaşabilirsiniz. Ayrıca istediğiniz bölümün üzerine uzun dokunarak tercih listenize ekleyebilirsiniz.
Üniversitelerin tercih edilme sırası son dört yıla ait istatistikler dikkate alınarak hesaplanmıştır. Üniversitelerin aynı adı taşıyan veya aynı içeriği bulunduran bölümlerinin sıraları ortalaması ve bu bölümlerin sıralama yüzdeleri dikkate alınarak üniversitelerin tercih edilme sıraları hesaplanmıştır. Bu sıralamalarda üniversitelerin %100 burslu, ücretli, ikinci öğretim gibi durumları dikkate alınarak ayrı ayrı sıralama yapılmıştır.
Durumum bölümünden daha önce hesaplayıp kaydettiğiniz sınavların bilgisine ve tercih için seçtiğiniz bölümlerin listesine ulaşabilirsiniz.
Bu programdaki verilerin doğru olması için olağan üstü gayret gösterilmiş olmakla beraber ilgili verilerin değişken olmasından ve hata payı bulunmasından dolayı bu veriler ile ilgili hiç bir sorumluluk kabul edilmemektedir.
