A Rádio Miriam tem sua identidade constituída fundamentalmente por três aspectos: é uma rádio com características especificas de linguagem, legislação, administração e aspectos da realidade local e global; católica para evangelizar direta e indiretamente de acordo com as Diretrizes da Igreja Católica Apostólica Romana; da Diocese de Caxias do Sul e Santuário de Caravaggio no que se refere a sua programação e administração.
Sua missão é evangelizar através da divulgação e promoção dos valores éticos e evangélicos, tendo presente a cultura e a religiosidade do povo cristão, especialmente a devoção a Nossa Senhora de Caravaggio.
