This app makes the volume rocker always control the media volume (like you would expect it to). I made it over a weekend, and released it here in case other people want to use it (and given its download numbers, apparently people do). Some users have reported battery issues, which will depend on your device type. I'm not actively developing this app anymore so I apologize if it doesn't work for you (Android 8+ not supported).

How to install Rocker Locker APK for Android [menu]
Download Rocker Locker APK file (com.tomwandroid.rockerlocker_2_1326420.apk) from SameAPK.com, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

- Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.
