This app includes a full-cast audio performance of William Shakespeare's “Romeo and Juliet” by L.A. Theatre Works, along with the complete text of the script.
With both the audio narration performed by amazing actors and the text, you can go back-and-forth from reading at the breakfast table, to listening while you commute to work, and reading again before bedtime. Just tap, and you can easily shift from one to the other - or follow along in the text as you listen!
“Romeo and Juliet” is the most iconic love story of all time, and is one of Shakespeare’s most beloved plays. With it, Shakespeare created the first tragic love story; before “Romeo and Juliet”, romance was not viewed as a worthy topic for tragedy.
