Rookwood is a beautiful Grade II listed building (1881) comprising of the Baby Unit, Tweeny Unit & Nursery. The new building was completed in 2001 for 3-5 year olds (Academy) & Before & After School Club & Holiday Club.
Rookwood Nursery is registered from birth to five years & is a family run business.
Rookwood is set in large grounds in the residential area of Prestwich. Close to the local primary schools, main roads into Manchester , Bury & the M60 ring road.
Rookwood Nursery is open five days a week, from 8am to 6pm, 50 weeks of the year (closed for two weeks at Christmas and on Bank Holidays)
Rookwood has safe off road parking and entry into the buildings is via an intercom and password system. We are committed to keeping the children safe, linking it into the theme of the unique child.
We provide a safe, stimulating indoor & outdoor environment with a variety of resources, which are reviewed regularly. All our resources are accessible to the children at all times.
Rookwood Nursery is the longest established family run nursery of all the nurseries in prestwich & the largest single sited nursery of all the nurseries in Bury.
We have thirty one years experience of caring for children. We have parents bringing their children to us, who were once Rookwood children themselves; a testimony in itself.
