It is better than performing it in the mosques if possible. Otherwise, there is nothing wrong with doing it in the mosques.

Al-Tirmidhi narrated it and said: It is the best thing in this section on the authority of the Prophet ﷺ. It was narrated by Ibn Majah and he did not mention the reading, but he narrated it with the reading as previously mentioned from the hadith of Saad Al-Muadhdhin.
Ali bin Abi Hamza from Jaafar al-Sadiq, the Seven Imam, and in the Eid prayer, said: "Growth and then reads and then grow up between all two ... Then he says the five takbeer and bows down to it.”
