With Sameride app you become part of commuter community to use the HOV / HOT lanes with no waiting in slug lines or making long-term carpooling arrangements.
Advantages of Sameride app:
You save time using the HOV / HOT lanes and not waiting in slug (casual carpooling) lines for drivers or passengers.
Your commute is reserved a few hours or a night in advance and you know the time and location where you will pick up passengers or join a ride.
As a driver, you can create a commuting route that works best for you and modify it as needed.
You help the environment and make our cities more sustainable by efficient use of cars on the road.
How Sameride app works:
Both passengers and drivers identify locations for origin and destination of their commute.
Drivers enter their car's information, starting time and the number of seats available. Then the drivers Offer Rides to passengers.
Passengers Join Rides that best fit their requirements after searching available rides.
Both passengers and driver meet at the specified time and location to begin commuting.
Drivers and passengers are rated by each other one to five stars.
NOTE: Passengers can also become drivers at any time by entering their car's information.
The first communities of commuters will be established in Washington, DC Metro area including commuters form Woodbridge / Stafford / Fredericksburg, VA to Tysons Corner, VA
