**Update May 2017**
I apologize, but for technical reasons, Google will not let me submit updates to this app. Therefore, I have created a new version of this app called "Screen Off (No Lock)" which is now available in the Play store.
"Screen Off (No Lock)" is re-created from the ground-up to meet modern Android standards. Updates and improvements include:
* Black screen by default
* Full-screen immersive mode
* The ability to move to SD card
* A new MaterialUI icon design
* Updated Android permissions checking
If you like this version of Screen Off, but are looking for any of the above updates, please check out the new version called "Screen Off (No Lock)".

A convenient alternative to your power button for turning your screen off to save battery.
Locks your screen and puts your phone to sleep as quickly as possible.
Press menu to select display options.
This does not immediately turn off your screen. For security reasons Android does not let applications sleep your phone.
How to install Screen Off APK for Android [menu]
Download Screen Off APK file (com.konreu.android.screenoff_3_293057.apk) from SameAPK.com, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.konreu.android.screenoff_3_293057.apk)
- Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.
How to install Screen Off APK on Windows 7/8/10 or MAC PC? [menu]
