Do you like to travel? Have you ever been in a situation where you are in a beautiful city, looking at some nice buildings, and you didn't know what that building actually was? Well that will never happen again! You can now have a travel guide in your pocket, which will tell you exactly what are you looking at. It can be a building, a park, a monument, anything you can imagine!
You can even search for the places history on the internet, or share it with your friends. Take pictures of the places you visit, and their name will be stored alongside the picture. This can be useful even when you get lost.
Got lost while on a trip? You may find directions to a place you have visited, and took a picture in just a few clicks. Also we have an integrated map for easier navigation. This map will be centered on your location, and will rotate with you, allowing you to see the streets and places in front. You will never get into a dead end when using it!
The application identifies nearby places by using data provided by wikimapia.org. Feel free to visit this site, and add new places that you know of to it.
For those who care about permissions:
Location permissions are needed to identify your location, based on which we will find the nearby places. Network permissions are needed to access the wikimapia.org database. The application lets you to take pictures. this is the reason for the camera permission. Also, these pictures have to be saved somewhere, so we use the external storage permissions. The google services permission is required for integrating a map.
