Shelter Quality è uno strumento per la valutazione del benessere animale nei canili a lunga degenza, ispirato al sistema di valutazione del benessere Welfare Quality®, che utilizza principalmente indicatori animal-based. Assegna un punteggio di benessere ai canili rifugio, sulla base del livello di benessere degli animali ospitati, e lo mette a confronto con il canile ideale. Identifica i fattori di rischio per il benessere dei cani mettendo in correlazione le caratteristiche strutturali e gestionali dei canili con il reale stato di benessere individuale.
La app, disponibile sia in italiano che in inglese, rappresenta uno strumento di supporto all’inserimento delle valutazioni in canile, con possibilità di operare anche offline.
