This app chants the Mahamrityunjaya mantra over a backdrop of Lord Shiva. Subtle animations including Ganga flowing from Shivji’s head, lightening and a glowing Om have been added over a celestial cosmic backdrop. Chanting along with the visual animation puts you in a meditative state.
This death conquering mantra is a verse from the ‘Rigveda’. It is also called the Rudra Mantra referring to the furious aspect of Shiv or the Triyambakam Mantra referring to the ‘three-eyed Shiv’. Along with the Gayatri mantra it holds the highest place among the many mantras used for meditation.
