Sholat taubat merupakan salah satu sholat sunah yang dilakukan sebagai
bentuk pertaubatan kita kepada Allah SWT. Adapun sholat taubat itu sendiri sebenarnya tidak terlalu berbeda dengan sholat taubat nasuha hanya saja ada tambahan kata nasuha.
Sholat taubat nasuha ini dilakukan oleh seorang muslim yang telah mengakui kesalahan-kesalahannya kepada Allah, dosa yang dimaksudkan disini adalah dosa besar sehingga seoarang muslim tersebut harus melakukan sholat taubat nasuha untuk memohon ampunan kepada Allah kemudian ia harus berjanji bahwa ia tidak akan melakukannya lagi setelah sholat tersebut dilakukan.
Pada dasarnya Allah itu Maha Pengampun Maha Pemurah, sebanyak apapun dosa yang telah kita lakukan pasti akan diampuni oleh-Nya. Namun jangan sampai kita lengah dan sombong sehingga kita tidak mau menyadari kesalahan kita dan tidak sesegera mungkin bertaubat.
Sebab kita tidak akan pernah tahu kapan tutup usia kita, belum tentu kita mati pada usia tua, belum tentu kita ada kesempatan kedua. Allah sendiri telah menjanjikan kepada mereka yang mau bertaubat yaitu ampunan-Nya, surga, dan pahala yang baik untuknya.
Oleh sebab itu, manfaatkan waktu yang masih ada ini untuk segera bertaubat kepada Allah menyadari kesalahan kita dan memperbaikinya.

Because we never know when we age cap, not necessarily we die of old age, not necessarily us a second chance. God has promised to those who want to repent is His forgiveness, heaven, and the best reward for him.
Therefore, take advantage of this time still to immediately repent to Allah realize our mistakes and correct them.
