You can set custom sms text ringtones for each of your contacts if you wish.
If you have Go SMS installed, you must uninstall it, then install this app, then re-install it or sms tones will not work. Or, uncheck the 'Disable other message notification' setting in 'Receive Settings' of GO SMS advanced settings.
