Notes : Microphones in most android devices are aligned to human voice. The maximum values are limited by the device. Very loud sounds(over ~90 dB) may not be recognized in most device. So please use it as just an auxiliary tools. If you need more accurate dB values, we recommend a actual sound level meter for that. Automatic gain control used in some devices may interfere with the operation of this noise meter. This app can measure sound level in decibels using your device's microphone located on the bottom. The accuracy of the measured sound level depends on your device's microphone quality and can be improved by calibration procedure described in app's info screen.

Caution:
The value of decibel meter or soundmeter(dB meter) is not as precise as an actual Sound Pressure Level Meter(SPL Meter), soundmeter, decibel meter or noise level meter, this is due to most device's microphone are aligned to human voice. To fix this, use an actual sound meter or sound pressure level meter (SPL meter) to adjust decibels error as close as possible before use. If you didn't own an actual Sound Pressure Level Meter (SPL meter), go to a very quiet place where sound cannot hear and adjust the reading value to 20~30dB.
