Welcome a sneaky cat to your home screen. He'll pop up from random locations along the edges of the screen and get all smug if he thinks you haven't detected him. Touch the screen to get him to hide again (or he'll do that himself after a satisfyingly long gloat.)
The setting screen has options for how long he stays in one place and if he responds to touch input.
