This is a live wallpaper - after downloading to your phone you will need to press the "menu" key - select wallpaper - then select Live wallpapers - then select "Steam Gauge". Make sure your phone supports live wallpapers before downloading!
Steam Gauge is a live wallpaper that shows battery level on an old locomotive steam control panel. The gauge in this version reads from 0-100 - 100 is 100% of full charge. A steam leak plays behind the valves. A special flag shows when the device is charging.
This application supports portrait and landscape orientations.
Regarding battery accuracy - this gauge is consistent with what your phone hardware and battery are reporting. It is reporting percentage of full charge remaining.
