StopSms is a community driven SMS blacklist. It will automatically delete unwanted incoming SMS (text message) that comes into your android phone. You can use StopSms to be your personal spam cleaner. It will delete all the SMS that you want to block.
At the same time, it will contribute to Stop Sms blacklist that is hosted by us. If there are 10 people who block the same number as you, the number you blacklist, that number will be elevated from personal spam into commercial spam. Once it reaches commercial spam, all the users who use StopSms will receive the number to be block in their own phone the next day.
With the help of community (all of you) that blocks all the considered Sms spam, we can have a complete Sms blacklist. At the same time we have operational cost to cover (server, bandwidth, and rack space). We are planning to ask $12 per year to keep the service running after 90th days of your StopSms installation. If you would like to participate further after 90 days, we would like to thank you for your support of helping us to cover our operational cost. Otherwise, we are still glad you use our application and you are still able to use StopSms application to keep blocking the incoming unwanted Sms from filling your inbox but you are no longer receiving blacklist sms from our community.
