SULTRAKINI adalah media online berkantor pusat di Kendari, ibukota provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara, berdiri 14 Agustus 2013, berbadan hukum PT. Sultra Media Utama. Dikelola tenaga-tenaga muda dan professional di bidangnya.
Tujuannya untuk melayani kebutuhan informasi dan berita dengan mengutamakan kecepatan sehingga masyarakat tidak perlu menunggu besok untuk membaca berita yang terjadi saat ini. Diupdate selama 24 jam sehari dengan melaporkan setiap kejadian penting paling lambat 15 menit sampai 1 jam dari lokasi kejadian.
SULTRAKINI menyajikan berita secara singkat, padat, dan humanis untuk menjawab kebutuhan masyarakat yang semakin efisien dalam membaca berita. Fokus pada pembaca Sulawesi Tenggara dan Indonesia secara umum, baik yang berada di tanah air maupun yang tinggal di luar negeri, dengan konten beragam seperti berita politik, ekonomi, olahraga, edukasi, wisata, kesehatan, kuliner, dll. Saat ini mempunyai pembaca rata-rata di atas 150.000 (hits) per hari.

Misi
Untuk mencapai visi, SultraKini menjalankan misi dengan berpedoman pada tiga prinsip:
1. Bertumpu pada kecepatan (jurnalis memburu dan menjual kecepatan berita). Berita dari lapangan hanya mampir sejenak di layar editor, selanjutnya sudah diunduh konsumen. Kesempatan pertama cukup mengandung 3 W (What happened, When, Where). Dengan menerapkan contiunous reporting: berita cepat kurang lengkap, disusul berita berikutnya lebih lengkap, lalu perkembangan, dan solusi jika memungkinkan, ini sekaligus memenuhi kaidah cover both sides dalam praktik jurnalistik.
2. Untuk jurnalisme Sulawesi Tenggara, bahkan Indonesia, yang lebih baik dan bertanggungjawab. Disini “siapa” lebih penting daripada “apa”.
3. Idealisme jurnalistik berjalan akur di depan bisnis media. Ini penting untuk menjaga media yang disenangi namun disegani.
