রাসূলুল্লাহ সা. ইরশাদ করেন,
من رغب عن سنتى فليس منى ـ رواه البخارى عن أنس بن مالك : ২/৭৫৭
অর্থ: যে ব্যক্তঠ আমার সুন্নত থেকে মুখ ফঠরঠয়ে নঠলো, সে আমার দলভূক্ত নয়। (বুখারী: ২/৭৫৭)
