Obiectivul jocului 'Sus pe cer' este atingerea unei înălţimi cat mai ridicate.Cu cât balonul ajunge mai sus, cu atât sunt mai multe punctele pe care le câștigi.Jucătorul cu cele mai multe puncte la sfârșitul jocului este câștigător.
Pe cer există diferite obiecte de care trebuie să profiţi sau pe care trebuie sa le eviţi.Există UFO-uri, nori întunecaţi, puncte bonus, nori direcţionali și tornade.
UFO-urile îţi distrug balonul. Se deplasează câte o poziţie la dreapta în fiecare rundă.
Norii negri îţi opresc balonul.
Norii direcţionali îţi trimit balonul în direcţia săgeţii afișate. După ce balonul atinge acest nor, direcţia săgeţii se schimbă.
Tornadele îţi plasează balonul pe o poziţie aleatoare pe tabla de joc.
