This release brings an improved chat creation UI and the ability to SMS from the mobile app (SMS-enabled DIDs required - https://support.digium.com/community/s/article/Setting-up-Switchvox-with-SIPStation-and-SMS).

Switchvox Chat lets you exchange text messages with your Switchvox co-workers.
Requirements:
- Switchvox business phone system, version 7.4 or later.
- Switchvox server must have a valid SSL certificate signed by a trusted 3rd party certificate authority.
Once you have the Switchvox Chat app on your mobile phone, open the app and enter the fully qualified domain name (meaning the hostname, not the numeric IP address) of your Switchvox, your extension number, and your password, and click Sign in.
The main Chat screen displays your recent chat sessions (messages have been sent in the last 7 days). You can tap one of those sessions to chat with the same person or people. Or, you can start a new chat with up to 10 people. The app sends notifications for incoming unread messages, so that you don't miss a message if the app is in the background, or closed.
