Tailor & Seamstress es una Aplicación para dispositivos móviles con sistema operativo Android, una herramienta para la creación automática de patrones de prendas de vestir a la medida, listos para imprimirse y en tamaño real.
Entre sus características destacan, la posibilidad de crear un perfil de cada persona de la que se desee obtener el patrón de una prenda de vestir a la medida de la misma; ofrece una vista previa de las prendas disponibles para crear patrones a medida; despliega una lista de prendas disponibles para el patronaje en cada perfil de acuerdo al sexo del mismo; tiene la opción de guardar en el dispositivo el patrón creado.
El funcionamiento, el usuario debe crear un nuevo perfil y de esta manera ingresar los datos de la persona que requiere el patrón a la medida de una prenda de vestir, la captura de la información se divide en dos momentos, en la primera parte se capturan los datos nombre, edad y número telefónico; en la segunda parte se realiza la captura de medidas, esta última es asistida con ayudas visuales, de acuerdo con el sexo del perfil en cuestión, que explican la forma correcta de tomar las medidas con el propósito de que el patrón que generará Tailor & Seamstress sea el adecuado y al mismo tiempo lo sea la prenda a confeccionar, una vez finalizada esta parte, el usuario deberá acceder a la lista de clientes de Tailor & Seamstress, donde encontrará el perfil que creó anteriormente.
Para crear el patrón a medida de alguna prenda para el perfil sólo habrá que seleccionarlo en la lista de clientes y escoger la prenda deseada, Tailor & Seamstress creará entonces el patrón a medida de la prenda, una vez creado el patrón, el usuario tendrá la opción de guardarlo para su uso posterior o descartarlo y así crear un nuevo patrón o salir de Tailor & Seamstress.
