Hadits tentang wasiat Ibnu Umar ra
yang tertulis dalam syarah Aqidah
Thahawiyah hal. 458 : “Dari Ibnu
Umar ra : “Bahwasanya beliau
berwasiat agar diatas kuburnya nanti
sesudah pemakaman dibacakan
awal-awal surat al-Baqarah dan
akhirnya.. ”.
“Dari Ibnu Umar ra: “Bahwasanya
beliau berwasiat agar diatas
kuburnya nanti sesudah pemakaman
dibacakan awal-awal surat al-
Baqarah dan akhirnya.. ”.
Hadits ini menjadi pegangan
Muhammad bin Hasan dan Imam
Ahmad bin Hanbal padahal Imam
Ahmad ini sebelumnya termasuk
orang yang mengingkari sampainya
pahala amalan dari orang yang hidup
pada orang yang telah mati. Namun
setelah beliau mendengar dari orang-
orang kepercayaan tentang wasiat
Ibnu Umar ini beliaupun mencabut
pengingkar- annya itu (Mukhtasar
Tazkirah Qurtubi hal. 25).
Ada hadits yang serupa dalam Sunan
Baihaqi dengan isnad Hasan:
"Bahwasanya Ibnu Umar menyukai
agar dibaca diatas pekuburan
sesudah pemakaman awal surat Al-
Baqarah dan akhirnya ”.
Perbedaan dua hadits terakhir diatas
ialah yang pertama adalah wasiat
Ibnu Umar sedangkan yang kedua
adalah pernyataan bahwa beliau
menyukai hal tersebut.
Hadits dari Ibnu Umar ra. bahwa
Rasulallah saw.bersabda : ”Jika mati
seorang dari kamu, maka janganlah
kamu menahannya dan segeralah
mem- bawanya kekubur dan
bacakanlah Fatihatul Kitab disamping
kepalanya ”. (HR. Thabrani dan
Baihaqi)
Abu Hurairah ra.meriwayatkan
bahwasanya Nabi saw. bersabda :
“ Barangsiapa yang berziarah di
kuburan, kemudian ia membaca ‘Al-
Fatihah’, ‘Qul Huwallahu Ahad’ dan
‘Alhaakumut takatsur’, lalu ia berdo’a
Ya Allah, kuhadiahkan pahala
pembacaan firman-Mu pada kaum
Mu ’minin dan Mu’minat penghuni
kubur ini, maka mereka akan
menjadi penolong baginya (pemberi
syafa ’at) pada hari kiamat”.
Hadits-hadits diatas atau hadits-
hadits lainnya dijadikan dalil yang
kuat oleh para ulama untuk
menfatwakan sampainya pahala
pembacaan Al-Qur ’an bagi orang
yang telah wafat. Apa mungkin para
sahabat Nabi seperti Ibnu ‘Umar dan
Abu Hurairah [ra] mengeluarkan
kata-kata yang mengandung ilmu
gaib (yaitu mengenai imbalan
pahala) tidak dari Rasulallah saw. Hadith of Ibn Umar ra testament

Hadeeth of Ibn Umar ra. that
Rasulallah saw.bersabda: "If the dead

head ". (HR. Thabrani and
Baihaqi)
Abu Hurairah ra.meriwayatkan
that the Prophet. said:
"Whoever pilgrimage in
grave, then he read 'Al-
Fatihah ',' Qul Huwallahu Sunday 'and
'Alhaakumut takatsur', then he prayed
O Allah, reward kuhadiahkan
reading your word on the
Mu 'minin and Mu'minat occupants
This grave, then they will
be a helper for him (grantor
syafa 'at) on the Day of Judgment ".
