Bimbo adalah sebuah grup musik asal Bandung Indonesia yang didirikan sekitar tahun 1967. Personel Bimbo terdiri atas tiga bersaudara kakak beradik Sam Bimbo, Acil Bimbo, dan Jaka Bimbo. Dan dalam perkembangannya kenudian ditambah oleh adik perempuan mereka Iin Parlina. Mereka bersenandung tentang cinta. Bercanda dalam lagu, mulai soal kumis, tangan, mata, sampai calon mertua atau membuat satire sosial.
Memasuki era '80-an, Bimbo mulai bermain dengan lagu-lagu dengan tema-tema kritik sosial seperti Antara Kabul dan Beirut atau Surat untuk Reagan dan Brezhnev. Namun, di sisi lain ciri khas sebagai kelompok religius pun melekat erat. Dari situ melekat pula lagu-lagu religiusnya yang mudah diterima oleh pasar. Berawal dengan lagu Tuhan karya Sam Bimbo dan berlanjut dengan album Qasidah di sekitar tahun 1974, Sajadah (1977), dan lain-lain. Lagu-lagu tersebut menjadi lagu yang melegenda dan kerap dinyanyikan dalam moment-moment Hari Raya Islam oleh Bimbo maupun oleh penyanyi lain di televisi, radio, dsb.
