This app has just launched! For now there is a limited library of books in English, Spanish, French, and Dutch. Over time I plan to add more books and more languages. I hope this tool will help you on your language journey!

In Tomato/Tomate audiobooks, every sentence plays twice: once in a language you know, and once in the language you are learning.
As you listen, your vocabulary, comprehension, and "feel" for the language will improve naturally.
You learn from the sheer volume of content you are exposed to, with all of it linked directly to a language you already know.
Our books are made using 100% human translation, and high-quality language-specific computer voices.
And with our "Pay what you want / Pay what you can" model, you decide what is a fair price.

The app has audiobooks with simple sentences and vocabulary if you are just beginning your language journey.
It has books with complex language if you are an advanced learner or want to stay proficient in a language you already know well.
Change the language order
You can have the audiobook play each sentence first in your current language, and then in your target language. That way when you hear a sentence in your target language, you already know what it means. This will help you start to recognize works, phrases, and sentence structures.
Or have it play in your target language first. You can try to understand the sentence as it plays, and then hear it in your current language to confirm or correct your understanding. This is great for more advanced users.
