Tombmapster(tm) is a special purpose tool that greatly streamlines and simplifies the process of surveying tombstones and monuments. With Tombmapster(tm) and Tombmap.org website you move beyond using more basic tools to increase your productivity. Now you can survey and transcribe two or three times as many tombstones in same time it used to take using tools like a standalone camera, word processor and/or paper and pencil.
With Tombmapster(tm), you capture image and GPS information for each tombstone. Tombmapster(tm) helps you stay better organized by keeping track of where and what you have surveyed. After you upload your survey data, you can then use the Tombmap.org website to view and easily transcribe information from the images. Once finished, cemetery tomb list documents (formatted as ASCII TEXT or HTML) can be easily exported for use on your own website.
